The Florida Division of Well being in Monroe County (DOH-Monroe) not too long ago appointed Taweh Beysolow as the brand new medical director.
Beysolow joined DOH-Monroe in November 2024. He will probably be chargeable for medical oversight of all Monroe well being division areas with direct shopper care in the future per week, working carefully with the DOH-Monroe APRN suppliers and registered nurses.

Beysolow’s appointment comes after earlier medical director Dr. Mark Whiteside’s retirement on Jan. 31. Whiteside has labored in public well being for over 40 years and has served as medical director since 2008. He plans to stick with his household in Key West.
