Meta has eliminated a Fb web page used to trace the presence of immigration brokers on the request of the Division of Justice, the corporate confirmed on Tuesday.
Legal professional Normal Pam Bondi stated in a publish on X that “following outreach” from the DOJ, Fb eliminated a “massive group web page” that was getting used to focus on ICE officers.
Meta stated in an announcement that the group “was eliminated for violating our insurance policies towards coordinated hurt.”
Meta is the newest tech firm to limit instruments used to trace ICE brokers on its platform.
