The School of the Florida Keys held its 69th graduation workouts for the autumn class of 2024 on Dec. 12 within the Tennessee Williams Theatre on the Key West campus. Forty-five graduates donned blue and orange commencement apparel to obtain their diplomas for bachelor’s levels, affiliate levels and certificates.
Melody Tuschel, who earned a bachelor’s diploma in utilized science in supervision and administration, opened the ceremony with the scholar handle. Clayton Lopez, a retired Key West metropolis commissioner, gave the keynote handle to the category.
Graduates receiving the affiliate diploma in nursing recited the Florence Nightingale Nursing Oath, a convention by which graduate nurses dedicate themselves to their new career.
