A neighborhood of Florida Keys officers and residents are banding collectively behind their conservative beliefs.
In March, paperwork for the Keys Frequent Sense Conservatives political motion committee (PAC) was filed with the Florida Division of Elections. The brand new group is chaired by Jill Cranney-Black, an elected member of the Florida Keys Mosquito Management District. Larry Zettwoch, Islamorada resident and retired Air Drive colonel, serves as vice chair for the PAC.
Zettwoch mentioned the PAC is made up of like-minded conservatives devoted to selling common sense ideas.
“We aren’t excessive. We’re average conservatives and we welcome everyone into the group if they’ve conservative views,” Zettwoch mentioned.
An announcement posted to the group’s Fb web page states it can determine, encourage and help candidates who share their dedication to advance conservative values.
“By open dialogue, grassroots motion and native involvement, we purpose to make a optimistic impression in our neighborhood and nation,” the submit states.
Monroe County Clerk of the Courtroom & Comptroller Kevin Madok serves because the PAC’s treasurer. The secretary is legal professional Nick Mulick. He was appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis in June to serve on the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority. Mulick additionally serves as authorized counsel for the Key Largo Wastewater Remedy District.
Among the many founding members are a number of elected officers within the Florida Keys. They embody Monroe County State Lawyer Dennis Ward, college board member John Dick and county commissioners Holly Raschein and Michelle Lincoln.
