CINCINNATI (AP) — Andrew Abbott pitched seven innings of shutout ball a day after being named an All-Star, Elly De La Cruz hit a pair of RBI doubles and the Cincinnati Reds beat the Marlins 7-2 on Wednesday night time, snapping Miami’s franchise-record 11-game street successful streak.
Abbott (8-1) was named to the NL All-Star workforce on Tuesday, changing Yoshinobu Yamamoto of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
